John V. Boshardy and Associates PC is proud to announce the expansion of our offices as part of our ongoing commitment to our clients. Included in the addition is a remodeled client reception area for the convenience and comfort of all of our clients. In addition, a new entrance will be added to make John V. Boshardy & Associates completely handicapped accessible and new parking spaces with direct access to our building have also been added along the north side of the building.
I am proud to note that all construction on the expansion of John V. Boshardy & Associates is being performed by union labor. A list of the companies, the union membership of that companies' employees, along with the local union halls to which the members belong is listed below. I appreciate the skill, professionalism, and hard work that has gone into this expansion by all involved.
Three generations of Boshardys have fought for rights of union members throughout the State of Illinois. My grandfather, Joe Boshardy, unionized railroad workers, and was himself a railroad worker in Bloomington, Illinois in the 1920s. He remained a staunch advocate for the rights of workers to bargain collectively for better wages and benefits throughout his life in Chicago. My father, Andrew J. Boshardy, carried on our family's proud tradition of union involvement, working for 32 years as a member of the Chicago and Northeast District Council of Carpenters for Gateway Concrete Forming Systems in Chicago, Illinois.
I will never forget the benefits that I and my family received as result of our association with the trades. Everyday, as more and more workers struggle to make ends meet, see their jobs sent overseas, and are denied basic health and pension benefits, I appreciate the tremendous advantages that I was given as the child of a union member. It is my hope that I honor my family's union background in the work that I do on behalf of the members I serve.
At John V. Boshardy & Associates, we are committed to fighting for the rights of all workers.
