
JOHN V. BOSHARDY
John V. Boshardy was born on June 2, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois and raised in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park, Illinois. He is married to Tina Boshardy and the father of two children, Caitlin and Leo. He earned a Bachelors of Arts in Communication from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois and earned his law degree from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. John began practicing personal injury law immediately after graduating from law school at a large personal injury and workers’ compensation firm in Central Illinois. Since 1991, Mr. Boshardy has limited his practice to representing injury victims throughout the State of Illinois from Chicago to the Metro East area of St. Louis.
John V. Boshardy has earned a reputation throughout Central Illinois for his extensive professional experience in aggressively representing injury victims. John is known not only for his commitment to providing personal attention to his clients, but for his ability as a skilled trial lawyer which allows him to obtain excellent awards and settlements for his clients.
John is part of three generations of Boshardys who have fought for the rights of injured workers in the State of Illinois. John's grandfather, Joe Boshardy, worked in the rail yards of Bloomington, Illinois in the 1920's and helped to unionize railroad workers. Joe remained a staunch advocate for the rights of workers' throughout his life in Chicago. John's father, Andrew Boshardy, carried on the proud tradition of union involvement, working for 32 years as a member of the Chicago and Northeast District Council of Carpenters for Gateway Concrete Forming Systems in Chicago, Illinois. Andrew Boshardy is retired and living Chatham, Illinois. John Boshardy is the third generation of Boshardys proudly committed to this long standing tradition of fighting for the rights of and providing strong legal assistance to injured Illinois workers.
JAMES (ROD) REPPY
Attorney J. Rod Reppy was born in St. Louis, Missouri and grew up in Berkeley, Missouri. Rod entered the United States Air Force after high school, serving nine years, including the last six years stationed at a small mobile radar unit located at the U. S. Army’s 3rd ID Headquarters, Wurzburg, West Germany. While serving in the Air Force overseas, Rod had some wonderful opportunities to travel in different countries and experience different cultures. Mr. Reppy has two grown sons -- Jeremy who is also an Attorney currently practicing in Illinois, and Justin is a Certified Public Accountant in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Rod obtained his bachelor of science degree with the University of Maryland while stationed in West Germany, and later entered law school at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in the fall of 1982 . Rod began his career as an attorney in December, 1985 as an associate in the Vermilion County Public Defender’s Office where he was active in representing clients in abuse/neglect cases, delinquency and mental health cases. Rod later worked as an associate attorney in a general practice firm in Dixon, Illinois, handling criminal defense, bankruptcy, dissolution of marriage cases, as well as cases in juvenile court. Rod began employment with a Peoria, IL law firm where he concentrated solely on the handling of Plaintiff/Petitioner personal injury, workers’ compensation, and social security disability cases prior to joining John V. Boshardy & Associates on November 1, 2007. Rod’s past experience along with his dedication in assisting injured people have made him an important addition to the law firm of John V. Boshardy & Associates. Rod’s goal, along with the firm of John V.
