
JOHN V. BOSHARDY
John V. Boshardy was born on June 2, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois and raised in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park, Illinois. He is married to Tina Boshardy and the father of two children, Caitlin and Leo. He earned a Bachelors of Arts in Communication from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois and earned his law degree from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. John began practicing personal injury law immediately after graduating from law school at a large personal injury and workers’ compensation firm in Central Illinois. Since 1991, Mr. Boshardy has limited his practice to representing injury victims throughout the State of Illinois from Chicago to the Metro East area of St. Louis.
John V. Boshardy has earned a reputation throughout Central Illinois for his extensive professional experience in aggressively representing injury victims. John is known not only for his commitment to providing personal attention to his clients, but for his ability as a skilled trial lawyer which allows him to obtain excellent awards and settlements for his clients.
John is part of three generations of Boshardys who have fought for the rights of injured workers in the State of Illinois. John's grandfather, Joe Boshardy, worked in the rail yards of Bloomington, Illinois in the 1920's and helped to unionize railroad workers. Joe remained a staunch advocate for the rights of workers' throughout his life in Chicago. John's father, Andrew Boshardy, carried on the proud tradition of union involvement, working for 32 years as a member of the Chicago and Northeast District Council of Carpenters for Gateway Concrete Forming Systems in Chicago, Illinois. Andrew Boshardy is retired and living Chatham, Illinois. John Boshardy is the third generation of Boshardys proudly committed to this long standing tradition of fighting for the rights of and providing strong legal assistance to injured Illinois workers.
JULIE A. BLANKS
Julie A. Blanks was born and raised in southern Illinois. Julie earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and graduated cum laude. She earned her law degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law in May of 2008. In law school, she worked in the Civil Practice Clinic, providing free legal services to the elderly. She joins John V. Boshardy and Associates because of its reputation as an aggressive and successful advocate for the injured worker and because it is one of the few law firms known for its personal interaction with clients.
